About the KiDs Project
YRGMERF,
in partnership with Sanofi, is implementing the KiDS (Kids and Diabetes in Schools) programme among government school students aged 10â15 years in Uttar Pradesh. The programme builds diabetes awareness and prevention literacy through teacher training, student engagement, community outreach, and social media. The internationally validated KiDS manual, adapted into the local language, is used as the core training resource, with qualified endocrinologists serving as master trainers.
The first two phases of the programme, launched in 2024, have yielded documented outcomes. The current phase involves expansion to 17 districts across UP, including aspirational districts and those requiring refresher training.
Role Overview
The Field Officer is the frontline member of the KiDS project team, responsible for direct engagement with schools, teachers, students, parents, and communities in the assigned districts. The role reports
