About the role
Position Title: Assistant Vice President (AVP)- Data Governance
Corporate Title: AVP
Internal Tile: Manager/ AVP
Location- MGS - Bangalore
Experience- 7+ years of relevant work experience.
Job responsibilities:




Provide subject matter expertise and support on Data Quality Monitoring, data governance, and banking data-related matters.
Review and support functional and technical documentation, including Data Dictionary, Key Data Elements, data lineage, and DQM business rules.
Perform data analysis, investigation, reporting, and issue resolution for DQM errors, incidents, deficiencies, and stakeholder queries.
Identify, manage, escalate, and communicate data quality issues with local, regional, and global stakeholders in a timely manner.
Gather and clarify business and user requirements, and translate them into practical DQM, reporting, or data-related solutions.
Design, build, or enhance DQM components and analytics outputs using approved tools such as Alteryx, Python/R, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
Apply data warehouse, structured data, AI, and analytics knowledge to support data quality analysis, insight generation, automation, and process
