Job description:
Candidate needs to be proficient in FE meshing of complex structure using 1D, 2D, & 3D elements. Needs to be proficient in creating hexahedral, tetrahedral, and combined mesh with transition in ANSYS/NX CAE. Hypermesh meshing experience will be added advantage.
Needs to be proficient with model set-up including but not limited to, material, boundary condition, load, & contact application in ANSYS. Needs to have expertise in linear & non-linear modeling.




Needs to be proficient in static & transient thermal, structural and modal analyses. Needs to have good work experience in harmonic and buckling analyses.
Needs to be proficient in bolt/weld joint assessment.
Needs to be proficient in fatigue (LCF and HCF) analysis. And needs to have valuable work experience in thermo-mechanical fatigue, fracture mechanics and creep analyses.
Needs to validate the results and document the assessment along with results summary and conclusion.
Needs to participate in internal & external reviews and present the assessment to stakeholders.
Needs to mentor and train new joiners and less experienced engineers.
Need to take lead in team building & program level initiatives
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals especially in solid mechanics, thermodynamics, materials, theory of failure, and finite element methods.
