A Sr. Accountant/Manager Accountant job involves overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with regulations, and managing a team. Key duties include preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing the month-end and year-end close processes, and collaborating with other departments on budgeting and financial planning. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical and leadership skills. Responsibilities

- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Perform reconciliations for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.

- Compliance and Auditing:

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and relevant regulations.
- Manage internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors.
- Handle tax-related filings, such as GST and TDS.

- Team and Process Management:

- Oversee and manage the accounting department's daily operations.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise accounting staff.




- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls.

- Strategic Support:

- Provide financial guidance to senior management to support strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments on financial planning and goal achievement.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and financial improvement.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-10 years of experience in accounting, with proven experience as a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles like GAAP.
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Solid attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is often preferred.
