We are looking for a qualified Speech Therapist with 1-2 years of experience working with children on the spectrum and various speech disorders.
Responsibilities
- Primary work would be conducting one-on-one therapy sessions for kids;
- Perform assessments for speech-language disorders for special children with one or multiple disorder like speech delays, Autism, Learning disabilities etc.;
- Provide feedback to parents and caregivers on a daily basis through discussion post-session;
- Develop individualised plans based on the assessment findings and in consultation with
the child’s parents;
- Establish understanding, expectations, and goals with parents of children;
- On an ongoing basis, keep abreast with profession knowledge and skill upgrading by reviewing publications, recent therapy skills and undergoing certifications;
- Provide caregiver consultation as needed and meet with caregivers throughout;
- Ensure the safety and well-being of kids;
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of children's progress,
data evaluations, and
treatment plans;
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with parents, caregivers and relevant stakeholders;
- Be willing to participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities, including personal and professional development and attend workshops on topics related to inclusion and education for children with special needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the area of Speech-Language Pathology;
- Experience with OPD techniques;
- Able to work in office 5.5 days a week;
- Mandatory: Fluency in English; Desired: Fluency in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil;
