About The Department:
The Securities Operations team manages critical securities and analytics data that supports investment decision-making, valuation accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across the firm. The team works closely with Trading, Compliance, Client Service, Technology, custodians, vendors, and data providers to maintain high-quality security master data, corporate actions, proxy voting, pricing, and analytics. Working in this team offers broad exposure to global financial markets, investment products, cross-functional stakeholders, and continuous process improvement initiatives in a collaborative and fast-paced workplace.
How You Will Add Value?
Core Responsibilities:
- You will maintain security master and reference data across platforms.
- You will follow established valuation policies, procedures, and controls.
- You will process securities pricing, analytics, and corporate actions data.
- You will investigate exceptions and escalate issues appropriately.
- You will govern proxy voting activities and related workflows.
- You will manage voluntary corporate action communications and processing.
- You will maintain securities analytics data using approved standards.
Team & Collaboration:
- You will collaborate with traders, operations teams,
and investment professionals.
- You will partner with custodians, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- You will support benchmark provider oversight and data implementation.
- You will mentor and train new team members.
Strategic Responsibilities:
- You will maintain valuation documentation for audits and inquiries.
- You will enhance data quality frameworks and best practices.
- You will support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and implementations.
- You will strengthen operational controls and documentation standards.
What Will Help You Be Successful In This Role?
Experience, Education & Certifications:
- 4+ years of experience in securities operations or financial markets.
- Experience supporting equity, fixed income, or derivatives products.
- Background in middle-office or back-office operations environments.
- Experience working with financial data and securities platforms.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of securities pricing, analytics, and corporate actions.
- Understanding of investment products, services, and information systems.
- Experience with securities processing platforms and workflows.
- Knowledge of fixed-income instruments and valuation methodologies.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Fast learner with a proactive,
team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage complex processes and stakeholder interactions.
