Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SolidWorks Designer role based in Rajkot. The SolidWorks Designer will create and modify detailed 3D models and technical drawings for various transformer components and assemblies using SolidWorks and related CAD tools. The role involves collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure designs meet mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements, while adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.

The designer will support research and development activities by contributing to new product designs, design improvements, and cost-optimization initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include preparing design documentation,



updating drawings based on feedback, performing basic design calculations, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth production and quality assurance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills, with proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and detailed drafting.
- Candidates should possess skills in Technical Drawing and Machine Design to create accurate, manufacturable transformer component layouts and assemblies.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering to understand materials, structural integrity, thermal considerations, and manufacturing processes.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) skills to assist in product innovation, design optimization, and problem-solving for transformer applications.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline are preferred.
- Prior experience in transformer or heavy electrical equipment design, or similar industrial manufacturing environments, is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret engineering standards, work with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple design tasks with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and commitment to safety and quality in an on-site manufacturing setting.
