About AtomFlo
AtomFlo is building an AI-native Work Operating System that brings Projects, Chat, Documents, CRM, Communication, Automation, and other business workflows together in one unified platform.
We are building our engineering team and looking for a Frontend Development Intern who wants to work on a real SaaS product, learn modern engineering practices, and contribute to features that will be used by real businesses.
You will work closely with our CTO, senior engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to build and improve the AtomFlo web application.
About the Role
As a Frontend Development Intern, you will contribute to the development of AtomFlo's web application using React and TypeScript.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building interfaces, solving problems, learning quickly, and working in a real product-development environment.
You will work on everything from reusable UI components and API integrations to product features, debugging, testing, and performance improvements.
What You'll Work On
Depending on the product roadmap, you may contribute to:
- Projects and Boards
- Chat and collaboration interfaces
- Authentication and onboarding
- Dashboards and workspace interfaces
- Forms and data-entry experiences
- Notifications and activity feeds
- Responsive web interfaces
- API integrations

Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented JavaScript/TypeScript and React code.
- Build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces from Figma designs and product requirements.
- Develop reusable React components and frontend modules.
- Integrate REST APIs and handle loading, error, and empty states.
- Work with senior engineers to understand technical requirements and implement features.
- Debug frontend issues and contribute to improving application performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established engineering standards.
- Use Git and Git-based workflows for development and collaboration.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Communicate blockers proactively and work with the appropriate team members to resolve them.
- Continuously learn and adopt modern frontend development practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of JavaScript.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of React.js.
- Familiarity with TypeScript or willingness to learn it quickly.
- Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and frontend API integration.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Basic understanding of browser developer tools and debugging.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with TypeScript and contemporary React patterns.
- Familiarity with state management libraries.
- Experience working with Figma designs.
- Basic understanding of frontend testing.
- Experience deploying a website or web application.
- Personal, college, hackathon, or open-source projects.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of accessibility and frontend performance optimisation.
