?️ What You'll Own

This isn't a role where you just pick up tickets!

You own the backend end-to-end.

From the first design discussion to production deployment, and from monitoring dashboards to the occasional production mystery — you’ll be responsible for building systems that are reliable, scalable and built to last.

You’ll:

- ?️ Architect and build high-scale backend systems used in enterprise environments.
- ?️ Design fault-tolerant, distributed services with clear SLIs/SLOs, strong observability and predictable performance.
- ? Build and evolve microservices and distributed workflows involving messaging, asynchronous processing, retries and idempotency.
- ? Turn complex business requirements into simple, robust technical solutions.
- ? Work closely with Product, Frontend, QA/SDET, DevOps/SRE and Data teams.
- ? Participate in design reviews, code reviews and architecture discussions.
- ? Own production systems, troubleshoot challenging issues and continuously improve reliability.
- ? Mentor engineers and help raise the engineering bar across the team.
- ? Most importantly — keep building. This is a hands-on engineering role, not a purely managerial one.

? What We're Looking For Must Have

- ? ? 6–10 years of experience building production backend systems, preferably in SaaS or product companies.
- ? Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, concurrency, scalability and reliability.
- ☕ Robust hands-on experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- ? Proven experience designing and building REST APIs and microservices.




- ?️ Good understanding of:
- Relational & NoSQL databases
- Kafka / RabbitMQ
- Redis / Memcached
- ? Strong debugging and problem-solving skills — you’re comfortable getting to the root cause of complex production issues.
- ☁️ Experience with at least one major cloud platform — AWS, GCP or Azure.
- ⚙️ Exposure to CI/CD, automated testing and observability.
- ? A genuine track record of shipping production code — not just creating designs or managing teams.

Languages: Java, Kotlin, Python, TypeScript, Spring / Spring Boot

Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch

Data & ML: Spark, Airflow, optimization engines covering areas such as routing, ETA and slotting
