Role Description The Social Media Intern and Content Host internship is a hybrid role based in Recent Town, with a mix of in-office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the planning and execution of social media campaigns across platforms, creating engaging posts, stories, and short-form videos, and assisting in content scheduling and community management.

The intern will also act as a content host for video and audio formats when needed, participate in brainstorming sessions for brand storytelling, and help track basic performance metrics for social content.



This role involves close collaboration with the marketing and creative teams to ensure consistent brand voice and timely delivery of digital content.

Qualifications

- Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and content creation, with familiarity across major platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Basic skills in copywriting and storytelling, with the ability to craft concise, engaging captions and scripts for short-form content.
- Comfortable appearing on camera or hosting content (videos, reels, live sessions, podcasts) with clear, confident communication.
- Ability to perform simple content planning and organization, including using scheduling tools and maintaining content calendars.
- Basic understanding of brand tone, visual consistency, and audience engagement principles.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a quick-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and willingness to learn modern marketing tools and practices.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree or coursework in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field is beneficial.
- Prior internship, campus project, or portfolio demonstrating social media or content work is an advantage.
