Role Description The Shop Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Curiosity Lab shop and ensuring a refined, welcoming customer experience. This role includes managing store opening and closing procedures, supervising inventory, organizing product displays, and maintaining visual merchandising aligned with the brand’s aesthetic.

The Shop

Manager will lead and support the shop team, coordinate schedules, and ensure smooth operations,



from stock management to cash handling and reporting. The role also involves engaging with clients, sharing the stories behind each collection, addressing customer inquiries and feedback, and cultivating long-term relationships that reflect Curiosity Lab’s values. In collaboration with the founder and wider team, the Shop Manager will contribute to local initiatives, events, and in-store experiences that strengthen the brand’s presence in Jaipur.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Store Management and Operations Management skills to oversee daily shop activities and ensure efficient processes.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Customer Experience skills to create a welcoming environment and provide attentive, personalized support.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with clients, collaborate with the team, and share brand stories clearly and respectfully.
- Experience in retail, luxury, or artisan-focused brands, with knowledge of visual merchandising and basic inventory and cash management.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Jaipur, demonstrating reliability, organization, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Interest in ethical luxury, craft, and cross-cultural collaboration; fluency in English is required, and Hindi or French is an asset.
