Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Server Administrator role based in Rasulpur.

The Server

Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and software to ensure stable and secure operations. Daily tasks include monitoring system performance, managing backups and recovery, applying patches and updates, and handling user access and permissions. The role involves diagnosing and resolving server and network-related issues, providing technical support to internal teams, and documenting system configurations and procedures.

Administrator will collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize infrastructure, improve reliability, and support current deployments aligned with TripStar’s SaaS offerings.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Server Administration, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers.
- Solid experience in System Administration, covering user management, backup and recovery, security controls, and resource optimization.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose, escalate, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Hands-on knowledge of Operating Systems such as Linux and Windows Server, including command-line tools, scripting, and patch management.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs) and basic cloud or virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure).
- Ability to document configurations, create standard operating procedures, and follow change management practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; industry certifications (e.g., MCSA/MCSE, RHCSA/RHCE, CompTIA Server+) are a plus.
