About RocketPay

We started in 2022 because the collections layer in India was broken. Lenders found out about defaults too late. Distributors waited months to know if a retailer would pay. Businesses had no compliant way to collect what was owed. Everyone was building at the transaction layer — nobody was going deeper into what happened after credit was given.

We decided to build that infrastructure. Today, RocketPay sits between payment initiation and default — preventing losses before they happen, not cleaning them up after. We are not a payment gateway, and we are not a debt recovery platform. We are the pipe through which credit collections and recovery flows.

What You'll OwnTechnical Content & Blog

- Plan, write, and publish a consistent content cadence targeting priority keywords across our customer segments — NBFCs, MFIs, and MSME retailers/distributors each search differently and need different depth
- Write technically accurate, credible content on UPI AutoPay, eNACH, device locking, and other relevant topics.
- Maintain a content calendar mapped to funnel stage: informational content for top-of-funnel discovery, commercial/comparison content for active evaluation.
- Pull subject-matter input from Sales, Product, and Founders when domain depth exceeds what's publicly documented

On-Page SEO & Site Optimization
- Own meta titles, meta descriptions, header structure, and body copy across the site
- Conduct keyword research using India-specific search data.
- Identify and execute internal linking opportunities that distribute authority toward commercial pages
- Partner with our Tech/Webflow team so every new page launches correctly set up.
- Run periodic content audits: find pages with ranking potential that are underoptimized, and consolidate or deprioritize thin content





GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
- Build RocketPay's strategy for appearing in AI-generated answers — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Copilot, for recurring collections, eNACH, and device-locking queries
- Identify the question formats where RocketPay should be the cited source, and create content designed to earn those citations
- Monitor how (and whether) RocketPay is being referenced in AI answer engines, and iterate based on findings

Backlinks & Off-Page
- Coordinate with our vendor & agency on backlink placements — your job is to write and pitch guest content, and to hold the line on quality (real domain authority and traffic, not directory-submission filler)
- Track the link profile in Ahrefs/Semrush and report on referring domain growth

Performance & Reporting
- Track organic traffic, keyword rankings, backlink acquisition, and content engagement in GSC/GA4/Ahrefs or Semrush
- Feed findings into monthly/quarterly reporting; familiarity with CRM-attributed funnel data (we use Zoho) is a solid plus, not a requirement

Requirements

- 2–3 years of experience in content marketing, SEO writing, or a closely related field, ideally with exposure to fintech, BFSI, SaaS, or another regulated/technical domain
- Hands-on experience with Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, or equivalent
- Solid grounding in on-page SEO & Off Page fundamentals: keyword research, intent mapping, header structure, internal linking, meta optimization, Link Building, Guest Blogging etc
- Ability to write across formats: long-form guides, landing pages, comparison content, case studies
- Bonus: familiarity with regulatory or compliance-adjacent content (BFSI, insurance, legal-tech, healthcare)
- Bonus: exposure to GEO/AI search optimization beyond the basics
- Bonus: A portfolio of published work demonstrating both writing quality and search performance (ranking improvements, traffic growth)
