About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate SEO Content Writer to take ownership of our content strategy and execution across all digital platforms. You will research, write, optimise, and publish compelling, SEO-driven content that attracts organic traffic, engages our audience, and supports our growth objectives.

This role will start part-time with a clear pathway to permanent full-time as the business and your impact grow.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Researching and writing high-quality, SEO-optimised blog posts, product descriptions, category pages, and feature stories
- Conducting keyword research and competitor analysis to identify content opportunities




- Optimising existing content for better search rankings and performance
- Creating engaging content for social media (Facebook, Instagram) and EDM campaigns
- Planning and managing an editorial calendar
- Generating content ideas, photo concepts, and video scripts aligned with search intent and seasonal trends
- Ensuring regular distribution of organic content across all platforms
- Monitoring content performance and making data-driven improvements
- Collaborating with the team on campaigns and marketing initiatives

About You

You’re a results-driven writer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is genuinely excited about helping a small business grow through smart, strategic content.

You’ll bring

- Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer or similar role
- Solid command of SEO best practices (keyword research, on-page optimisation, search intent, etc.)
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to write engaging, persuasive content across different formats and tones
- Experience with content management systems, Google Analytics, and SEO tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
- Strong research skills and commercial awareness
- Creativity and the ability to develop fresh content ideas
- A collaborative, positive attitude and genuine team-player mindset
- Passion for digital marketing, trends, and the gifting industry (bonus points!)
