Software Architect — High-Speed Interconnect Platforms

Kandou AI is scaling fast, and we're looking for a Software Architect to help lead the software platform behind our next-generation high-speed interconnect technology.

What You'll Own

Architect the software stack that sits above our device firmware — management interfaces, test-orchestration tooling, telemetry pipelines, and customer-facing SDKs.

Design clean, stable APIs and adaptation layers that make customer integrations fast without forking the core codebase.

Drive multi-vendor interoperability validation with major hyperscale and cloud infrastructure players.

Build out manufacturing test-orchestration software, from test sequencing to yield analytics.

Own DevOps and release engineering for the platform: CI/CD, build systems, hardware-in-loop automation, secure supply-chain practices.

Author rigorous architecture specifications and partner closely with firmware, ASIC design, product, and field engineering teams.





Be a technical voice with customers on integration and escalation topics.

What You Bring

8–10 years shipping software for high-speed interconnect, module, or networking-silicon products (not purely host- or cloud-side software).

Hands-on experience with industry management/interoperability standards for module-based networking hardware.

Strong background in sideband/management transports (I2C/SPI, MCTP, SMBus, I3C).

Experience working directly with hyperscaler or tier-one OEM customers on interoperability and qualification.

Deep DevOps chops: CI/CD for multi-target builds, conformance test harnesses, hardware-in-loop testing, Git-based workflows.

Strong C and Python skills, with a rigorous approach to testing (TDD, static analysis, automated regression).

BS in EE, Comp Eng, or CS required; MS preferred.
