We need an Quantity Surveyor who can turn architectural drawings and client visions into accurate, competitive pricing that wins projects while protecting margins.

This role is about precision, market knowledge, and commercial judgment. You'll work closely with our sales and design teams to prepare estimates for residential, F&B;, and retail fit-out projects, ensuring every proposal is realistic, competitive, and profitable.

What You'll Do:

Cost Estimation & Tender Preparation

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects including MEP, joinery, finishes, and FF&E;
- Review architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and BOQs to understand project scope
- Quantify materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor requirements accurately
- Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors in the UAE and internationally
- Prepare competitive offers submissions ensuring completeness and compliance
- Identify value engineering opportunities and alternative solutions

Supplier & Subcontractor Management

- Maintain robust relationships with fit-out suppliers, subcontractors, and material vendors
- Continuously build and update database of reliable suppliers with competitive pricing
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure best value
- Evaluate subcontractor capabilities and pricing for different trades
- Stay informed on market rates, material costs, and labor availability

Commercial Analysis & Risk Assessment





- Assess project viability and profitability based on cost analysis
- Identify commercial risks and assumptions in estimates
- Provide management with clear recommendations on tender participation
- Support contract negotiations with cost justifications and breakdowns
- Coordinate with project management on cost control and budget tracking

Collaboration & Documentation

- Work closely with sales team on client proposals and presentations
- Collaborate with design team to ensure estimates align with design intent
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, quotations, and supplier pricing
- Prepare comparison reports and cost analyses for management review
- Support post-award activities including contract finalization and project handover

What We're Looking For:

- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on estimating experience on interior fit-out projects in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of fit-out suppliers, subcontractors, and material sources in Dubai market
- Experience with residential, F&B;, and/or retail fit-out projects
- Proficiency in reading architectural and MEP drawings
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and standard forms of agreement
- Experience with cost planning, budgeting, and contract administration
- Proficient in MS Excel and estimation software
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is advantageous
