About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of multiple technology projects from initiation through delivery.

This is a hands-on role suited for someone who can independently manage projects, clients, developers, designers, QA teams, and other stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.

Important Requirement – Startup Experience

Prior experience working in a startup or fast-growing technology company is mandatory.

We are specifically looking for someone who has experienced the pace and working environment of a startup — where priorities can change quickly, resources may be limited, processes are still evolving, and the Project Manager is expected to take ownership beyond a traditional PM role.

Someone who has only worked in large organizations with highly structured processes may not be the right fit for this position.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Ownership & Delivery

- Own multiple projects simultaneously from kickoff to final delivery.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, and delivery trackers.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Track project progress and proactively identify delays, risks, and blockers.
- Coordinate development, design, QA, DevOps, and other technical teams.




- Ensure clear ownership and accountability across the project team.

2. Client & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
- Conduct project meetings, status calls, requirement discussions, and review sessions.
- Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and changes clearly.
- Manage client expectations and ensure timely sign-offs.
- Handle escalations professionally and drive issues towards resolution.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients.

3. Technical Understanding

- The candidate should have enough technical understanding to work effectively with engineering teams.

You should be comfortable discussing:

- Web and mobile application development
- APIs and third-party integrations
- Databases and basic SQL
- Cloud infrastructure and hosting
- Development, QA, and deployment cycles
- SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Production issues and technical dependencies
- You are not expected to be a developer, but you should be able to understand technical discussions, ask the right questions, and translate technical information into business- and client-friendly communication.

4. Project Planning & Risk Management

- Identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks before they become issues.
- Maintain RAID logs and project documentation.
- Create mitigation plans for project risks.
- Monitor resource allocation and project capacity.
- Identify scope creep and manage change requests.
- Escalate critical issues with clear recommendations and impact analysis.

5. Process & Team Management

- Establish project processes and communication structures where required.
- Improve project delivery processes and internal workflows.
- Conduct regular project reviews and retrospectives.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained.
- Coordinate between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Take ownership and solve problems independently rather than waiting for instructions.

6. Commercial & Business Responsibilities

- Support estimation and project planning.
- Understand project budgets and resource utilization.
- Track change requests and their commercial impact.




- Participate in client discussions around scope, timelines, and commercials.
- Support business development activities where required.

What We Are Looking For

Must-Have

- 4–7 years of relevant project management experience.
- Mandatory: Previous experience working in a startup / fast-growing technology company.
- Prior experience in the Media & Entertainment industry is preferred
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing cross-functional technology teams.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, or similar.
- Good understanding of APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and software development.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to independently manage projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Good to Have
- Experience with SaaS / web / mobile applications.
- Experience with enterprise integrations and third-party APIs.
- Experience working with international clients.
- Experience in Media & Entertainment, E-commerce, Healthcare, CRM/ERP, or similar technology domains.
- Business development or pre-sales experience.
- Technical background or IT education.
