Role Description The Senior Process Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Gurugram, responsible for leading process engineering activities for steel and metals production projects. This role includes designing and optimizing process flows, specifying equipment and control strategies, and ensuring process safety, efficiency, and reliability.

The Senior Process

Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, including project engineering, design, commissioning, and operations, to develop and validate process concepts, perform simulations, and support start-up and performance guarantees.



Day-to-day responsibilities involve reviewing and preparing technical documents, conducting analytical evaluations of process performance, troubleshooting operational issues, and recommending improvements aligned with sustainability and green steel objectives. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers, engaging with customers and vendors on technical matters, and supporting proposal and bid activities with process-related inputs.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in process engineering, including Process Engineering and Process Design skills.
- Expertise in Process Control, with experience in control strategies and process automation interfaces.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for evaluating process data, performing calculations, and optimizing performance.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering with 5-8 years of experience.
- Experience in petrochemical,speciality chemical oil and gas industries, preferably in plant design, commissioning, or modernization projects.
- Proven ability to lead projects, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple priorities under defined timelines.
- Strong communication skills for technical documentation, stakeholder discussions, and customer-facing engagements.
- Familiarity with process simulation tools and relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
- Commitment to sustainable engineering practices, continuous improvement, and innovation in process design.
