Title: SENIOR PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

Role Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to manage our end-to-end purchasing and service contracting operations. In this role, you will analyze project requirements, issue inquiries, negotiate favorable commercial terms, and draft accurate Purchase and Service Orders within SAP/ERP. You will act as the primary liaison between suppliers and clients; driving post-order execution through manufacturing clearances, inspection schedules, dispatch approvals, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Order Execution

· Analyze technical and operational project requirements to float RFQs/inquiries to qualified suppliers and manufacturers.

· Prepare, issue, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Service Orders (SOs) in strict alignment with project scope, timelines, and budget constraints.

· Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs) with vendors to secure cost efficiencies and favorable contract conditions.





Vendor Management & Post-Order Coordination

· Serve as the main point of contact for vendor coordination, overseeing manufacturing clearances, quality inspection schedules, and dispatch approvals.

· Maintain tight follow-ups with suppliers and clients to prevent supply chain bottlenecks and keep deliverables on track.

· Review, verify, and track vendor documentation, invoices, and payment milestones for accurate closeout.

Systems & Commercial Compliance

· Utilize SAP/ERP systems daily to create, track, and maintain accurate purchasing, service, and master data records.

· Apply thorough knowledge of commercial terms and conditions (e.g., payment terms, warranties, liabilities, delivery terms) to mitigate contractual and project risks.

Team Leadership & Development:

· Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing procurement team, setting transparent KPIs, enforcing ethical sourcing standards, and driving continuous process improvement.

Experience:

- 12-15 years of experience in purchase of equipments for electrical AIS/GIS Substations (up to 33kV/66KV/ 220KV) and 11kV Underground cable network.
- Coordinate effectively with Project Team, Technical and production teams of leading OEM/ MNC OEM.

Qualifications:

Required

- B.E./B.Tech – Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical field from a reputed institute.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
