Job Title: Sr. Power BI Developer

Shift Timings: Should be available till 9-9:30 PM IST

Location: PAN INDIA Remote, Work from Home

Seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with at least 6+ years of experience to join our vibrant Data, Analytics & AI team. The ideal candidate should be an expert in Power BI advanced concepts, with experience in data analysis, Dimensional Modeling, Semantic Modeling, Visualizations, Reports (Paginated) and dashboard development. The Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, migrating, enhancing, and supporting Power BI solutions that provide actionable information to stakeholders.

- At least 6 years of experience in data analysis and visualization using Power BI.
- Develop operational paginated reports and build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI Desktop, Service and other Azure Analytics / reporting features
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data sets to identify trends and patterns.
- Proficient in SQL and experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and exposure to ETL processes.
- Experienced in tools and systems on MS SQL Server, BI tech Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, Power BI, and Strong hands-on experience in DAX
- Create dashboards and visual interactive reports using Power BI and to identify KPIs with clear objectives and monitor them consistently.
- Ability to create and maintain Power BI Modeling, visualizations involving dimensional hierarchies, drill down, drill through and dashboards with advanced visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Consolidation of Data Model & Data Sets (Reuse, optimize, consolidate to minimal number) across different applications to develop Enterprise Semantic models
- Migration of non-Power BI Analytics into Power BI using best practice recommended scalable solutions
- Well experienced in custom columns, measures, time series metrics, KPIs and integrate custom visualizations, collaboration features,
- Exposure to setting up RBAC security, migration, Deployment Pipelines
- Familiarity with data preparation and data wrangling techniques.
- Understanding & hands-on experience in time series, statistical analysis and modeling techniques.




- Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and experience working with databases.
- Familiarity (nice to have) with any other analytics like OAC, Tableau, Google Domo or QlikSense etc…
- Experience in Azure services like Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Analysis Services.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake or OCI or AWS or GCP.
- Ability to Structure ambiguous business problems and recommend visualization solutions
- Develop a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users/ business analysts to define technical and process requirements
- Troubleshoot data issues from the analysis criteria all the way to Data Warehouse and to the source systems
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace and to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Exposure to programming like Python/PySpark/Java scripting etc... Is a plus.
- Experience working with multiple database systems (on premise and cloud)
- Experience in performance analysis, reconciliation of data with source systems, data accuracy validation and testing.
- Knowledge of code migration, Change management – version control systems
- Understanding of ERP (EBS/ERP/PSFT/JDE/SFDC etc…) source system is a plus if not, Willingness to understand source system business process flow and learn the technical ER models
