Role Description The Senior Payroll Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll processes for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role manages payroll calculations, reviews data for accuracy, and ensures timely disbursements in compliance with local regulations and client policies.

The Senior Payroll

Analyst will handle payroll taxes, garnishments, and statutory deductions, maintain detailed payroll records, and reconcile payroll-related accounts in collaboration with the accounting team. Day-to-day activities include analyzing payroll variances, resolving discrepancies, responding to client inquiries,



and preparing reports to support financial and compliance requirements. The role also involves identifying process improvements, supporting audits, and contributing to the development of standardized payroll practices across the organization.

Qualifications

- Robust expertise in Payroll Administration, including end-to-end processing and compliance.
- Hands-on experience managing Garnishments and statutory deductions with accuracy and confidentiality.
- In-depth knowledge of Payroll Taxes and related regulatory requirements.
- Solid foundation in Accounting principles relevant to payroll reconciliation and reporting.
- Highly developed Analytical Skills for identifying discrepancies, trends, and process improvements.
- Proficiency with payroll and accounting software; advanced skills in spreadsheets and data analysis tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client payrolls and deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Experience in a senior payroll or payroll specialist role, preferably within professional services or multi-client environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; professional certifications in payroll or accounting are an advantage.
