Company Description: SaveIN (backed by Y-Combinator) is an embedded finance platform that enables merchants to offer instant, affordable installment-based payment plans to their customers. It helps customers access products and experiences while splitting their bills into easy, transparent installments. SaveIN focuses on no-cost or low-cost options, making financing more accessible and customer-friendly.

Role Description: We are looking for someone who can sit between finance and lender management — a CA, MBA, or finance postgraduate who has worked inside a fintech, NBFC, or digital lending business and understands how a lending book actually behaves.

On the finance side you will own MIS and management reporting, lender and merchant reconciliation, invoicing and settlements, and budgeting. On the partnerships side you will manage BAU with our existing Banks and NBFCs and support leadership in evaluating and onboarding current lending partners.

It is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to leadership, and the right person will grow into owning the finance and lender management function end to end.

Key responsibilities

1. MIS & management reporting

- Own monthly MIS and management dashboards — disbursals, portfolio, revenue, and cost lines
- Build reporting that leadership can act on, not just look at
- Prepare periodic reporting packs for lenders, leadership, and investors
- Improve reporting processes so the same numbers do not have to be rebuilt every month

2. Reconciliation, settlements & invoicing

- Own reconciliation across lenders, payment gateways, merchants, and the internal LMS — disbursals, collections, refunds, and cancellations
- Raise and track lender and merchant invoices; ensure timely settlement and clean ageing
- Investigate and close breaks and unmatched entries before they turn into escalations
- Build reconciliation and settlement trackers that stand up to lender scrutiny

3. Payouts,



controls & process hygiene

- Manage merchant and partner payouts with the right checks in place
- Maintain clean documentation and process notes across revenue, collections, and payout flows
- Work with the accounts team and consultants to ensure data flowing into the books is accurate
- Identify and fix process gaps that create leakage or repeated manual effort

4. Existing lender relationship & BAU management

- Be the internal SPOC for lender-facing commercial and financial matters — limits, payouts, FLDG utilisation, and SLA tracking
- Build working-level relationships with lender finance, credit, and alliance teams
- Prepare and present periodic lender review decks; drive follow-ups to closure
- Coordinate internally with tech, product, risk, and legal on lender requirements and go-lives

5. New lender partnerships & onboarding

- Support leadership in identifying, approaching, and evaluating new Banks and NBFCs
- Work on commercial structuring — pricing, IRR, subvention constructs
- Own the data room and financial diligence responses during lender onboarding
- Track onboarding and integration milestones across lender, tech, legal, and finance teams to go-live

What we're looking for

Must-have

- CA, MBA, or postgraduate in finance / commerce
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a fintech, NBFC, bank, or digital lending business — you have worked with lending numbers, not just generic corporate finance
- Comfortable dealing directly with Banks and NBFCs — you have been on calls with their teams, not just CCed on emails
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; able to build a settlement recon and a product P&L; with equal ease

Good to have

- Understanding of RE-LSP, FLDG, or embedded finance structures
- Familiarity with RBI Digital Lending Directions and the LSP operating model
- Working knowledge of LMS / LOS systems and SQL for pulling own data
- Existing working relationships with Banks or NBFCs
