Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day maintenance, facilities, housekeeping coordination, and basic infrastructure requirements of the clinic. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the clinic remains safe, clean, functional, and operational at all times.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in healthcare, hospitals, clinics, hotels, commercial buildings, or similar facilities and should be capable of coordinating vendors and maintenance staff efficiently.

Key Responsibilities1.

Daily Facility

Maintenance

- Supervise the day-to-day maintenance of the clinic premises.
- Ensure electrical, plumbing, AC, civil, carpentry, and other facility-related issues are attended to promptly.
- Conduct regular inspections of the clinic infrastructure and identify maintenance requirements.
- Maintain proper functioning of lights, switches, air-conditioning, water supply, washrooms, doors, furniture, etc.
- Ensure all clinic areas are maintained in a safe and operational condition.
- Healthcare / Clinic Equipment Coordination
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of clinic equipment.
- Maintain records of equipment servicing, AMC, repairs, and breakdowns.
- Coordinate with authorized service providers for medical and non-medical equipment.
- Ensure equipment-related issues are escalated immediately to the concerned department.
- Vendor Management
- Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, AC technicians, civil contractors, pest-control agencies, housekeeping vendors, and other service providers.
- Monitor vendor work and ensure timely completion.
- Verify service quality and report any issues to management.




- Maintain vendor contacts, service records, quotations, and AMC details.
- Housekeeping &
- Hygiene Coordination
- Supervise and coordinate with housekeeping staff.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the clinic.
- Monitor washrooms, waiting areas, consultation rooms, treatment areas, OT areas, staff areas, and common spaces.
- Ensure proper availability of cleaning materials and housekeeping supplies.
- Coordinate pest control, deep cleaning, and sanitation activities.
- Safety &
- Compliance
- Ensure basic fire-safety and emergency systems are functional.
- Monitor fire extinguishers, emergency exits, electrical safety, and other safety-related requirements.
- Ensure proper disposal and handling of maintenance-related waste.
- Immediately report safety hazards or infrastructure risks to management.
- Support clinic management during emergencies and breakdown situations.
- Inventory &
- Maintenance Records
- Maintain inventory of maintenance tools, spare parts, electrical items, plumbing materials, cleaning supplies, etc.
- Maintain daily/weekly maintenance checklists.
- Track breakdowns, repairs, preventive maintenance, and pending issues.
- Maintain AMC and service schedules.
- Prepare regular maintenance reports for management.
- Team Supervision
- Allocate daily tasks to maintenance and support staff.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, discipline, and work quality.
- Ensure maintenance requests are resolved within the required timeline.
- Train staff regarding basic safety and maintenance procedures.

Required Skills





- Strong knowledge of clinic/hospital facility operations.
- Good understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC/AC, civil and general maintenance.
- Vendor and contractor management skills.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Team handling and supervisory skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle urgent maintenance issues.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining reports and records.
- Strong sense of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.

Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / Graduate in a relevant technical or maintenance-related field.
- Relevant hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
