About the Company:

Our client is an established fabric trading business with an annual turnover of approximately ₹70–100 Crore. The company is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage senior-level accounting, taxation, reconciliation, payroll, and finalization activities.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who can independently handle core accounting and statutory responsibilities while leading and reviewing the work of two Data Entry Operators responsible for routine accounting entries and basic data management. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in GST, TDS, BRS, payroll, accounts finalization, and financial data preparation, with the ability to coordinate effectively with the company's CA.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise the work of two Data Entry Operators, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of routine accounting activities.
- Handle senior-level accounting, including ledger scrutiny, accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial records.
- Manage GST and TDS workings, compliance, and related documentation.
- Prepare and review Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly salary sheets and ensure accurate statutory calculations, including PF, ESI, and other applicable components.




- Handle accounts finalization, including preparation and review of required schedules and supporting data.
- Prepare accurate financial and accounting data for finalization and submission to the company's CA.
- Coordinate with the CA, auditors, and consultants for taxation, compliance, and accounting matters.
- Ensure proper documentation, accuracy, and timely completion of accounting and statutory activities.
- Support management with required financial reports, analysis, and accounting information.

Requirements

- 3.5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a trading environment.
- Strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, BRS, payroll, and accounts finalization.
- Experience in preparing data and supporting documents for CA-led finalization.
- Ability to supervise junior accounting/data-entry staff and independently manage senior-level responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership, and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Candidates comfortable commuting to Saroli, Surat will be preferred.
