Role Description The Senior Accountant role at Prime Pay is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhubaneswar.

The Senior

Accountant will oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. This role will prepare and review financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closes.

Accountant will monitor compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements, coordinate with auditors and tax advisors, and implement internal controls to safeguard financial data.



The role will also partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for business decisions and process improvements.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Knowledge of applicable accounting standards, taxation principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to use accounting and ERP software (such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
- Transparent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Several years of experience in accounting or finance, with demonstrated responsibility in senior or lead roles.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhubaneswar and manage deadlines in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
