We are hiring: Security Specialist - Cybersecurity Operations | Bengaluru, India

HR Path Group is looking for an experienced (8-10 Years) Security Specialist to join our global cybersecurity operations team in Bengaluru, India.

HR Path is a Human Resource Solutions Specialist supporting organizations across HR strategy, HRIS implementation, and payroll outsourcing. In this role, you will work closely with cybersecurity resources based in France and support the operation,

maintenance, and continuous improvement of core protection technologies across the organization, including

Zscaler, Proofpoint, and EDR platforms.

This is a hands-on operational role focused on production support, service reliability, incident handling,

configuration management, security tooling governance, and continuous improvement of endpoint and user protection capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain production cybersecurity protection tools in collaboration with the France-based cybersecurity

team.
- Manage and support Internet browsing protection tools such as Zscaler or equivalent secure web gateway, DNS

security, or proxy platforms.
- Manage and support email protection platforms such as Proofpoint or equivalent anti-phishing, anti-malware, and mail

gateway solutions.
- Operate and maintain EDR technologies used for endpoint visibility, detection, investigation, and response.
- Ensure tools are correctly configured, updated, monitored, and aligned with internal security standards and

operational best practices.
- Monitor tool health, coverage, performance, and operational effectiveness to proactively identify gaps, failures, or





areas requiring improvement.
- Participate in change management activities related to upgrades, policy changes, configuration updates, and recent

feature rollouts.
- Adjust security configurations based on HR Path user incidents, business needs, operational observations, and

security requirements.
- Support the SOC team during containment, eradication, and recovery activities for endpoint, email, web browsing,

malware, and user-related incidents.
- Contribute to post-incident reviews, improvement actions, operational maturity initiatives, and lessons learned

activities.
- Maintain runbooks, SOPs, operational documentation, configuration references, and support procedures for managed

tools.
- Propose improvements to detection rules, security policies, operational processes, and service reliability practices.
- Support onboarding of new cybersecurity tools, features, and integrations from an operational readiness perspective.

Required Technical Skills
- 10+ years of experience with strong exposure to at least two of the following domains: Zscaler or web/internet

browsing protection, Proofpoint or email security, and EDR platforms.
- Hands-on experience with secure web gateways, DNS security, proxy solutions, anti-phishing controls, anti-malware

solutions, email gateways, and endpoint detection and response technologies.
- Solid understanding of endpoint, user, email, malware, and web-based threat landscapes.
- Experience working with security alerts,



logs, investigation workflows, incident triage, and operational troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of Windows, Linux, macOS, and basic networking concepts.

Operational and Soft Skills
- Experience working in security operations, cybersecurity run teams, or tool operations teams.
- Ability to follow, maintain, and improve operational processes, SOPs, and runbooks.
- Comfortable working in an international and follow-the-sun operational model when required.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, ownership, and service reliability mindset.
- Clear and structured communication, especially with remote and international stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously while coordinating closely with global teammates.
- Proactive approach toward continuous improvement, operational excellence, and risk reduction.

Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent

qualified experience.
- Certifications on Zscaler, Proofpoint, EDR, security operations, or related cybersecurity domains will be considered an
