Team members collaborate closely with clients to strengthen security posture, respond to incidents, and solve high-impact cyber challenges.
Role Description The Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst will monitor security tools and platforms, analyze alerts, and investigate potential threats in real time. Day-to-day responsibilities include triaging incidents, performing cyber threat hunting, enriching and validating cyber threat intelligence, and documenting findings and remediation steps. The role involves collaborating with incident response and consulting teams, creating clear reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders, and contributing to continuous improvement of detection rules and playbooks.
This is a full-time remote role that requires working within a 24/7 operational context, including participation in on-call or shift-based schedules as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in cybersecurity, including familiarity with common attack vectors, security frameworks, and defensive tools.
- Hands-on experience with Security Operations Center environments and processes, including alert triage, incident handling, and log analysis.
- Proficiency in Cyber Threat Hunting (CTH), using indicators of compromise, behavioral analytics, and hypotheses to proactively identify threats.
- Experience with Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), including collecting, analyzing, and operationalizing threat data for detection and response.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, prioritize risks, and make sound, evidence-based decisions.
- Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and basic network and endpoint security concepts.
- Transparent written and verbal communication skills to document incidents and explain technical findings to diverse audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, GIAC, or similar) are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, maintain confidentiality, and uphold high ethical standards.
