Flychem is looking for an experienced professional to independently plan, coordinate and review scientific efficacy and safety studies for cosmetic and personal-care ingredients and formulations. The consultant will work remotely and support multiple studies on a versatile, part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan in-vitro, ex-vivo and human clinical studies based on product claims and mechanisms of action.
- Identify, evaluate and coordinate with suitable CROs, laboratories, dermatologists and research institutes.
- Develop and review study protocols, endpoints, testing methodologies and sample-size requirements.
- Coordinate efficacy, safety, dermatological and instrumental testing.
- Monitor study timelines, budgets, documentation and CRO deliverables.
- Review raw data, statistical analysis and final study reports.
- Translate study outcomes into scientifically substantiated product claims.
- Prepare technical study summaries, claim-support documents and scientific presentations.
- Guide R&D;,
Regulatory and Marketing teams on suitable studies for new ingredients and finished formulations.
- Track relevant study standards, testing methodologies and global claim-substantiation requirements.
Preferred Profile
- M.Pharm / Pharm.D / MSc / PhD in Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in clinical research, CRO management, cosmetic efficacy testing, dermatological studies or claim substantiation.
- Strong understanding of in-vitro, ex-vivo and human clinical study design.
- Ability to independently review protocols, statistical outputs and technical reports.
- Prior experience with cosmetics, dermatology, pharmaceuticals or personal-care products is preferred.
Role Objective
Take ownership of the complete study cycle: study concept -> protocol -> CRO selection -> execution -> data review -> final report -> claim substantiation.
