Senior SAP SCM (MM) Consultant with 10+ years of solid functional experience, preferably with significant experience in the Retail industry. The candidate should have strong expertise in AMS/Production Support along with SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation experience.

The candidate should have the core SAP MM experience along with APIs/interfaces, batch jobs, custom ABAP logic, and external systems to identify root causes and drive issues through resolution.

The candidate should have strong functional expertise combined with good technical troubleshooting skills, including ABAP debugging, APIs, interfaces, IDocs, RFCs, and batch job monitoring.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

- Provide day-to-day SAP SCM/MM and S/4HANA production support for retail supply chain operations.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Support end-to-end retail supply chain processes, including:
- Purchase Orders (PO) and Stock Transport Orders (STO)
- Inbound and outbound deliveries
- Inventory management and stock movements
- Goods Receipt (GR) / Goods Issue (GI)
- Store and Distribution Center (DC) replenishment
- Site/Store and Article-related supply chain processes
- Intercompany and cross-location stock movements




- Work extensively with SAP integrations to external and third-party systems.
- Troubleshoot inbound and outbound interfaces, including APIs, IDocs, RFCs, middleware integrations, file-based interfaces, and batch processes.
- Possess good ABAP debugging and technical troubleshooting skills to analyze custom programs, enhancements, interfaces, and complex production issues.
- Monitor and troubleshoot batch/background jobs, interface failures, IDoc errors, and integration-related issues.
- Support S/4HANA releases, deployments, hypercare, and post-production validation.
- Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and recommend permanent solutions to improve system stability and reduce production issues.
- Coordinate closely with business users, IT teams, development teams, and external application/integration teams.
- Ability to work with US and India overlapping hours and collaborate effectively with teams across different geographical locations.
- Maintain support documentation, solution documents, test evidence, RCA documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Strong experience working in an AMS/Production Support model with SLA-driven incident management.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and JIRA for incident, problem, change, and work-item management.
