Role Description This is a full-time, in office SAP Developer role based in Chennai. The SAP Developer will design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions that support core business processes in equipment rental, service management, logistics, and finance. Daily responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, configuring and customizing SAP modules, developing programs and interfaces, and ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.

The role also involves troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, creating technical documentation, and collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to improve workflows. The SAP Developer will participate in testing, deployment,



and ongoing support, helping ensure reliable, scalable systems that align with URMILLA’s operational and customer service goals.

Qualifications

*** SAP Business One Experience required with minumum 5 to 7 years of experience as SAP Developer

- Ability to analyze and optimize Business Process workflows related to rentals, service operations, logistics, and finance.
- Strong Software Development skills, including solution design, SAP customization, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in Programming (e.g., ABAP, SQL, or related languages) for developing reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
- Experience with Integration of SAP systems with internal and external applications, APIs, and data sources.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Products (such as SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP SD, MM, FI, or related modules).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience in construction, equipment rental, or asset-intensive industries is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and support critical business operations when needed.
