Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in the Pune Division.
The Sales
Engineer will engage with industrial customers to understand their machine tool and accessory requirements, propose suitable technical solutions, and support the sales cycle from initial inquiry to order closure. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting product presentations and demonstrations, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and after-sales support.
The role also involves providing basic technical guidance, resolving customer queries, and maintaining long-term relationships with key accounts.
The Sales
Engineer is expected to stay current on product specifications, industry trends, and competitor offerings to support effective sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Solid Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate machine tool solutions.
- Demonstrated Sales and Customer Service skills to manage leads, negotiate orders, and maintain positive client relationships.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
- Experience in machine tools, industrial equipment, or manufacturing solutions will be an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site with customers, travel within the region as required, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
