About Tingu Tales Tingu Tales is an AI-powered personalized storytelling platform that creates beautiful, meaningful storybooks for children in 9 Indian languages.

We turn a child into the hero of their own story — personalized with their name, interests, experiences, language, and character — and now deliver printed storybooks directly to families at home.

What started as a hackathon project has evolved into a real product with paying customers, 100 stories generated during our early beta, and a growing opportunity in the personalized children's books and AI storytelling space.

We are now looking for a Sales & Marketing Partner to join us at this exciting stage.

About the Role

This is not a traditional sales or marketing job.

We are looking for someone who wants to own growth and work directly with the founder to take Tingu Tales to its next stage.

You will be responsible for figuring out who our best customers are, how to reach them, how to convert them, and how to build repeatable growth channels.

You could work across:

- Direct-to-parent sales and customer acquisition
- Partnerships with schools, bookstores, parenting communities and children's brands
- Influencer and creator partnerships
- Social media and content-led growth
- Community building
- Offline events, exhibitions and demos
- B2B and institutional sales opportunities
- Performance marketing and growth experiments
- Market research and customer discovery
- Product positioning and messaging
- Building and managing the sales pipeline
- Tracking conversion, CAC, revenue and other growth metrics

You'll work directly with the founder,



with significant ownership and freedom to experiment.

Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is:

- Extremely entrepreneurial and comfortable with ambiguity
- Excited about sales, marketing and growth
- A strong communicator and relationship builder
- Comfortable talking to parents, schools, educators, businesses and partners
- Willing to pick up the phone, send messages, run experiments and close deals
- Data-driven but also highly creative
- Able to take an idea from "let's try this" → execution → results
- Excited about AI, children's products, education, storytelling or consumer technology

Prior experience in sales, marketing, EdTech, consumer products, children's content, D2C or SaaS is a plus, but entrepreneurial mindset and execution ability matter more than credentials.

Compensation & Cofounder Opportunity For the right person, there is also an prospect to join Tingu Tales as a cofounder, working closely with the founder to build the company from this early stage.

If you are looking for a conventional 9-to-5 sales/marketing role, this probably isn't the right opportunity.
