:

- To develop and grow the marine boiler repair business across India and the Colombo region. The role covers two revenue streams: (1) securing boiler repair and service work for vessels calling Indian ports, and (2) capturing repair orders from Indian ship owners and ship management companies for their vessels calling overseas ports, to be executed by the company's teams in the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, and other locations. The position demands an energetic, business-driven professional with an established network among ship owners, ship managers, and technical superintendents.
- Develop and execute a sales and marketing plan for marine boiler repair services (retubing, tube renewal, refractory work, burner and mountings overhaul, riding crew attendance) across India and Colombo.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with ship owners, ship management companies, technical superintendents, fleet managers and port agents based in Mumbai, and across Indian maritime centres (Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata, Kandla/Mundra, Visakhapatnam) and Colombo.
- Generate enquiries for vessels calling Indian ports and coordinate attendance through riding crews/service teams.
- Market the company's GCC facilities and overseas attendance capability to Indian-managed fleets,



so vessels calling Dubai, Fujairah, Bahrain, Duqm and other overseas ports are booked for boiler repair with the company.
- Obtain vessel defect lists, boiler condition reports and survey status from clients; gather technical details required for accurate estimation.
- Coordinate with the Sales & Estimation team at Dubai HO for preparation of quotations; follow up, negotiate and close orders.
- Register the company with Indian ship management companies, owners and PSUs as an approved vendor; complete prequalification requirements.
- Track vessel movements, dry-docking schedules and survey due dates of target fleets to identify repair opportunities in advance.
- Attend industry events, port visits and client meetings; conduct regular sales visits and technical presentations.
- Report sales pipeline, enquiry status, order bookings and market intelligence to Dubai HO on a weekly basis.
- Support payment follow-up and collection from clients in the territory.

Qualifications:

- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
- Minimum 4 years' experience in sales/business development in ship repair, marine services, or marine equipment – with exposure to boiler or pressure part repair strongly preferred.
- Well-versed with the shipping industry: must have existing working relationships with ship owners, ship managers and technical superintendents in India and ideally Colombo.
- Sound technical understanding of marine boilers (auxiliary, exhaust gas, composite) to discuss defects and repair scope credibly with superintendents and chief engineers.
- Solid written and spoken English; proficiency in MS Office for proposals and reporting.
- Country / State Specific: Indian.
- Language Proficiency: English.
