The role requires a solid leader capable of liaising with government agencies and other departments, handling investigations, and reporting to senior management. Strategic and leadership responsibilities

- Develop and implement the organization's overall security and safety strategy.
- Manage, train, and appraise the security and safety team, including recruitment and performance management.
- Conduct risk assessments and maintain mechanisms for risk mitigation.
- Develop and deliver presentations and proposals related to security and safety plans.
- Liaise with external agencies like police and government bodies on security matters.

Operational responsibilities
- Oversee daily security operations, such as access control,



patrols, and monitoring security footage.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage the preparation and delivery of safety training programs for employees.
- Respond to emergencies and lead the emergency response team during incidents.
- Conduct investigations into security breaches, accidents, and safety violations.

Administrative and reporting responsibilities
- Maintain records of safety incidents, employee health information, and other relevant data.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on security and safety performance to management.
- Manage the selection and maintenance of security and safety equipment.
- Develop and review contingency plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other necessary documentation.
