Role Description The Safety Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Suratgarh, focused on maintaining a safe working environment across construction sites. The role involves conducting regular safety inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective measures to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

The Safety

Engineer will develop and update safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and investigate incidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive actions. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with site supervisors and workers on safety practices, delivering safety briefings and toolbox talks, and ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment and safety systems.

Engineer will also collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement in health, safety, and security practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Safety Engineering and Construction Safety to develop, implement, and monitor safety protocols on active construction sites.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Occupational Health principles to assess workplace conditions, manage risk, and support compliance with health-related regulations.
- Candidates should possess Security awareness and site security management skills to help protect personnel, materials, and equipment.
- Candidates should possess Training and safety education skills to plan and deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and refresher training for site personnel.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Engineering, Safety, or a related field, along with certifications in industrial or construction safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent), are beneficial.
- Practical experience in construction environments, familiarity with local safety regulations and standards, and strong communication and documentation skills are preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Suratgarh, collaborate with diverse teams, and respond effectively to emergencies and incident situations is required.
