Role Overview

Pahle India Foundation (PIF) is looking for a bright, versatile Research & Outreach Associate to support its corporate and government partnerships function. The role sits at the intersection of research, communications, and relationship-building, supporting the team in strengthening ties with existing corporate donors and funders, identifying and reaching out to new partners, and helping convert relationships into funded projects. The ideal candidate is a sharp generalist with robust research and writing ability, comfortable working across market research, outreach, events, and communications.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research

- Conduct research on sectors, companies, and CSR/funding trends to identify prospective corporate partners and funding opportunities.
- Track regulatory, policy, and industry developments relevant to PIF's partnership and advisory work.
- Prepare briefing notes, landscape scans, and sector mapping documents to inform outreach strategy.

Funder Outreach & Partnerships

- Support outreach to existing and prospective corporate donors, funders, and partners.
- Assist in building and maintaining a pipeline of potential partners and funding leads.




- Coordinate meetings and follow-ups with corporate and government stakeholders.
- Provide research and logistical support in developing partnerships into funded project proposals.

Communications

- Draft concept notes, proposals, grants, presentations, and correspondence for partners and funders.
- Support the development of clear, polished written and visual communication material for PIF’s Partners & Stakeholders

Events

- Assist in planning and coordinating partner meetings, roundtables, workshops, and other outreach events.
- Manage logistics, invitee coordination, and documentation for events.

Report Writing

- Draft donor updates, progress reports, meeting minutes, and internal documentation.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all written outputs.

Social Media

- Support PIF's social media presence by translating dense reports into digestible and accurate content and helping maintain visibility of partnership work and events.
- Track engagement and help ensure consistent messaging across platforms.

Data management

- We are recruiting for both the Corporate Advisory & CoDED vertical. Working in CoDED will require you to have some proficiency with organising & managing central datasets,



relevant to CoDED’s economic and policy research
- Maintaining data integrity across large data-sets

Qualifications & Experience

- 0–4 years of relevant work experience.
- Educational background in Economics, Public Policy, Mass Communications, English Literature & Journalism are all eligible to apply

Skills & Attributes

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to write clearly and persuasively.
- Is able to keep an open line of communication with reporting managers.
- Strong research and analytical ability, with attention to detail.
- Proactive and comfortable with external-facing outreach and relationship-building.
- Is flexible and well-organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks (research, events, reporting) simultaneously.
- Interest in and willingness to develop sector-specific and policy knowledge.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets & Slides) and familiarity with social media platforms (Linkedin, X)
- A sharp, curious, and self-driven individual who takes initiative and learns quickly.
