This includes coordinating with various stakeholders, navigating regulatory frameworks, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications. The role requires a strong understanding of transmission infrastructure, renewable energy technologies, and project management principles.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of the :
Key Responsibilities
- Connectivity Application Management:
- Oversee the entire process of preparing and submitting connectivity applications to CTU for renewable energy projects.
- Ensure all necessary documentation, including technical data, system studies, and compliance documents, are complete and accurate.
- Track the progress of applications and address any queries or deficiencies raised by CTU.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between the project developer, CTU, and other relevant agencies (e.g., CEA, MNRE).
- Technical Expertise:
- Possess a solid understanding of transmission system planning and operation, including grid codes, standards, and regulations.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility of connecting renewable energy projects to the ISTS (Inter-State Transmission System).
- Conduct or coordinate system studies (e.g., load flow, short circuit, stability) to assess the impact of new generation on the grid.
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications for grid connection equipment and systems.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, policies,
and procedures related to grid connectivity for renewable energy projects.
- Ensure that all connectivity applications and projects comply with the requirements of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) and other relevant authorities.
- Advise the project team on regulatory requirements and potential compliance issues.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with various stakeholders, including CTU, project developers, transmission licensees, and regulatory bodies.
