Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Officer role based in Branch, LA.

The Relationship

Officer will manage and grow a portfolio of clients, focusing on micro, small, and medium enterprises, by building solid, long-term business relationships. Daily responsibilities include meeting prospective and existing clients, understanding their financial needs, explaining products and services, and recommending appropriate financial solutions. The role involves handling customer inquiries, resolving service issues promptly, coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and documentation, and monitoring accounts for risk and performance.

Officer will also support sales and business development activities, contribute to achieving branch targets, and maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Business Relationship Management skills, including client portfolio handling and stakeholder engagement.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge, with the ability to understand credit, lending, and financial products for small and medium enterprises.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain financial solutions clearly and build trust with clients.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service capabilities, including problem-solving, empathy, and responsiveness to client needs.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills, with experience in lead generation, cross-selling, and achieving business targets.
- Relevant academic background in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is beneficial.
- Prior experience in banking, NBFCs, or financial services, especially in MSME lending or relationship roles, is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple client relationships, use basic office and CRM tools, and adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
