Position: Manager - Regulatory & Business Development

Location: Gurgaon / Versatile (Travel Required)

About the RoleCleangrid Energy is looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as a Manager – Business Development & Regulatory Affairs. The ideal candidate will help expand our renewable energy business, especially in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) segment, by understanding state regulations, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities1. Regulatory &

- Policy Management

- Stay updated on state-wise renewable energy policies, open access regulations, and C&I; market guidelines.
- Monitor changes in government regulations and evaluate their impact on current and future projects.
- Provide regulatory support and guidance to internal teams during project planning and execution.

Business

Development &

• Client Management
- Connect with Commercial & • Industrial (C&I;) customers to understand their energy requirements.

- Recommend suitable renewable energy solutions, including Solar, Wind, Hybrid, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, developers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and support the company's growth objectives.

3. Investor & • Client Support
- Prepare project presentations, business proposals, financial information,



and regulatory updates for clients and investors.
- Assist in creating marketing materials, project teasers, and business reports.
- Support discussions with investors and customers by providing accurate project information.

Strategy &

• Market Expansion
- Support the planning and expansion of renewable energy projects across different states.
- Identify opportunities in Open Access and C&I; markets based on policy changes and market trends.
- Contribute to the development of the project pipeline for Solar, Wind, Hybrid, BESS, and Round-the-Clock (RTC) power projects.

Qualifications & • Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in Renewable Energy, Power Sector, or C&I; Business Development.
- Good understanding of renewable energy regulations, state policies, Open Access, and electricity market dynamics.
- Experience in business development, client management, proposal preparation, and investor interactions.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and growing organization.
