Role Description The Registered Nurse at Prvnt provides direct patient care and supports preventive health programs within an on-site clinical setting in Chennai. This full-time role involves conducting assessments, monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, and coordinating diagnostic tests in alignment with Prvnt’s prevention-focused protocols. The nurse will educate patients on lifestyle changes, treatment plans, and the use of wearables and digital tools to encourage continuous engagement in their care.
Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals,
and contributing to care plans informed by AI-driven and lab-based insights. The role also involves participating in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to clinical standards, and promoting a protected, respectful care environment.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license/registration and completion of an accredited nursing program; bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills, including experience with vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and care plan implementation.
- Ability to educate and counsel patients on preventive health, lifestyle modifications, and adherence to treatment and monitoring protocols.
- Comfort with technology, including electronic health records, wearable devices, and data-driven care tools.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to respectful, inclusive patient interactions.
- Attention to detail in documentation, time management, and adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
- Experience in preventive care, chronic disease management, or wellness programs is an advantage.
