Role Description The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality, patient-centered care within NURA’s screening facility in Kozhikode in a full time, on-site position. Day-to-day responsibilities include welcoming and preparing individuals for screening procedures, taking vital signs, reviewing medical histories, and supporting physicians and technicians during AI-enabled imaging and diagnostic assessments.

The nurse will educate patients about screening processes, follow-up steps, and lifestyle modifications, ensuring clear, empathetic communication. Additional duties include maintaining accurate clinical documentation,



adhering to infection control and safety protocols, coordinating appointments and patient flow, and participating in quality improvement activities. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver efficient, evidence-based preventive services.

Qualifications

- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and completion of an accredited nursing program (GNM or BSc Nursing; Post BSc or MSc Nursing preferred).
- Clinical skills in patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, basic life support, and assisting with diagnostic procedures.
- Strong patient communication and counseling abilities, including health education on screenings, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
- Experience with or willingness to learn AI-enabled imaging workflows, electronic health records, and digital documentation practices.
- Commitment to infection control, patient safety standards, and adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, manage time effectively, and support smooth patient flow in a busy screening center.
- Prior experience in preventive health, oncology, radiology, or outpatient care is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and local language communication; adaptable to work in shift-based schedules as required.
