Chandigarh University is seeking a agile and result-oriented Recruiter to support the University's talent acquisition efforts across academic and non-academic functions. The role involves end-to-end recruitment, stakeholder management, candidate engagement, and employer branding to attract high-quality talent aligned with the University's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for academic and non-academic positions.
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, professional networks, referrals, and talent databases.
- Screen applications and conduct initial candidate assessments.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers, Deans, Directors, and departmental stakeholders.
- Ensure timely closure of positions while maintaining quality of hire.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Manage candidate communication and provide a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Support recruitment drives, campus hiring initiatives,
job fairs, and employer branding activities.
- Prepare recruitment MIS reports, dashboards, and hiring analytics.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and documentation requirements.
Eligibility
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related discipline.
- 2–6 years of recruitment experience.
- Experience in academic recruitment and/or higher education hiring is required.
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
