About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Frontend Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience to join our core engineering team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will focus on building highly interactive, scalable, and visually polished web interfaces for our enterprise-grade SaaS platform. We value strong engineering foundations over specific keyword matching.

If you have a rock-solid grasp of JavaScript and React basics, love solving complex UI challenges, and are a natural self-learner who thrives in a cooperative startup environment, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Feature Delivery: Develop robust web applications from scratch and maintain existing workflows using ReactJS and TypeScript.

UI/UX Implementation: Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, highly responsive interfaces using modern CSS frameworks like TailwindCSS, Material UI (MUI), or Ant Design.

Performance Optimization:



Proactively monitor and optimize frontend performance. Implement techniques like lazy loading, code-splitting, asset optimization, and efficient re-rendering to ensure sub-second page loads.

Build System Management: Maintain and configure local bundlers and build tools to ensure smooth development workflows and optimized production builds.

Testing & Quality Assurance: Write automated unit tests to ensure UI components are reliable, regressions are caught early, and core application workflows remain bulletproof.

State & API Management: Manage complex frontend application states and integrate backend RESTful APIs/WebSockets smoothly.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers, designers, and business stakeholders. Communicate project timelines, engineering hurdles, and ideas clearly and effectively. Required Technical Skills & Competencies 1. Core Frontend Foundations

JavaScript & React Basics: Deep, foundational understanding of core JavaScript (ES6+, Event Loop, Closures, Promises) and React fundamentals (Virtual DOM, Component Lifecycle, Hooks, State vs. Props).

TypeScript: 1+ years of professional experience writing strongly-typed, clean, and maintainable TypeScript code.

Styling Frameworks: Strong proficiency in at least one of the following:



TailwindCSS, Material UI (MUI), or Ant Design. 2. Build Tools, Performance & Testing (New)

Build Tools: Practical experience using and configuring modern build tools, module bundlers, and package managers (e.g., Vite, Webpack, npm/pnpm).

Frontend Performance: Solid grasp of web performance metrics (Core Web Vitals) and modern browser optimization strategies (memoization, virtualization, bundle-size optimization).

Unit Testing: Hands-on experience writing reliable unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library (RTL). 3. Soft Skills & Traits

Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate within a fast-paced, lean startup environment.

Problem-Solving Mindset: Analytical thinking to dissect a business requirement and break it down into clean, scalable code architecture.

Self-Learning & Adaptability: A proven track record of picking up new libraries, tools, or concepts independently with minimal hand-holding. Good-to-Have Skills (Bonus)

Experience or familiarity with Mobile App Development using React Native.

Basic understanding of Next.js, Server-Side Rendering (SSR), or state management libraries like Redux Toolkit/Zustand.
