About the RoleBSP Metatech LLP is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to strengthen our Quality team. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in Press Shop operations, along with a strong understanding of engineering drawings and ISO quality standards.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product and process quality, identifying quality issues, supporting corrective actions, and maintaining compliance with defined quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and ensure quality standards across Press Shop and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections as per drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
- Identify process and product quality issues and coordinate with Production for resolution.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for quality-related problems.
- Implement and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and other required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable ISO Quality Standards and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.




- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Stores, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and process quality initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or related engineering discipline.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/engineering workplace.
- Practical knowledge of Press Shop operations and processes.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances.
- Positive knowledge of ISO Quality Standards and QMS.
- Familiarity with inspection and measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of RCA, CAPA, and basic quality improvement tools.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred CandidateWe are looking for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of identifying quality issues at the process level, rather than limiting the role to inspection activities.
