Role Description The Quality Control Inspector is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for inspecting products across hardlines and softlines categories to ensure they meet specified quality standards, client requirements, and international compliance norms. Day-to-day tasks include conducting in-line and final inspections at factories, reviewing samples against approved specifications, documenting inspection findings, and preparing clear reports for internal teams and clients.
The Quality Control
Inspector will collaborate closely with vendors, merchandisers,
and logistics teams to address non-conformities, support corrective actions, and help maintain consistent product quality and on-time deliveries. The role also involves following established quality procedures, participating in process improvements, and supporting training and guidance for vendor partners on quality expectations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills and deep Quality Control and Inspection hands-on experience in product evaluation, sampling, and defect classification.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Management, including understanding of standards, procedures, and continuous improvement practices.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to clearly document findings, report issues, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with manufacturing or sourcing environments, preferably in apparel, home textiles, furniture, or related product categories.
- Candidates should possess robust attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in on-site factory settings.
- Relevant technical education or certification in quality, textiles, engineering, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience as a quality inspector or quality controller is preferred.
- Candidates should possess basic computer skills for reporting and data entry and be willing to travel to vendor locations as required.
