We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to take ownership of software quality and help build a scalable, reliable quality engineering function.
You will combine hands-on technical expertise with leadership, working closely with engineering and product teams to improve test automation, quality processes, and release confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall QA and quality engineering strategy
- Build, maintain, and improve automated testing frameworks
- Develop and maintain automated end-to-end and integration tests
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows
- Establish effective quality checks and release processes
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, reliability, and efficiency
- Monitor and analyse defects and quality trends
- Work closely with developers to improve product testability and quality
- Investigate quality issues and help identify their root causes
- Establish effective testing practices across the development lifecycle
- Mentor and support QA engineers
- Help develop and grow the QA function as the organisation scales
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in software QA / Quality Engineering
- Robust hands-on experience with test automation
- Experience designing or owning automation frameworks
- Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience with API and integration testing
- Strong programming/scripting experience, preferably with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience working with automated test reliability and maintenance
- Strong understanding of software quality practices
- Experience mentoring or leading QA engineers
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
