Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with robust hands-on experience in Java, Selenium WebDriver, API Testing, and REST Assured. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web applications and REST APIs.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and execute REST API automation tests using REST Assured.
- Validate API request/response, status codes, headers, JSON/XML response, and authentication.
- Create and maintain reusable automation frameworks.
- Work with TestNG/JUnit for test execution and reporting.
- Perform UI automation using Selenium WebDriver.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira.
- Analyze test failures and perform debugging/root-cause analysis.
- Execute test cases and prepare test execution reports.
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Use Git/GitHub/GitLab for source-code management.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts,



and other stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Core Java and OOP concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong experience in REST API testing.
- Hands-on experience with REST Assured.
- Knowledge of HTTP methods: GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE.
- Knowledge of API authentication such as Basic Auth, Bearer Token/OAuth.
- Experience with JSON/XML parsing and validation.
- Experience with TestNG/JUnit.
- Good understanding of Maven/Gradle.
- Knowledge of Git and version control.
- Experience with Jenkins/CI-CD.
- Good knowledge of SQL/database testing.
- Understanding of Page Object Model and automation framework design.

Good to Have
- Experience with BDD/Cucumber.
- Knowledge of Docker or cloud-based test execution.
- Experience with performance or security testing is an advantage.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
