We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in software testing and test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test solutions for web, desktop, and API applications. The candidate should be proficient in automation frameworks, software testing methodologies, API testing, CI/CD integration, defect management, and database validation.

You will work closely with developers, business analysts, DevOps engineers, and product owners to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.

- Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks following industry best practices.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.

- Perform manual testing wherever automation is not feasible or practical.

- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.

- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.

- Analyze test execution results, investigate failures, and prepare detailed test reports.

- Perform API testing and validation using Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.

- Validate application data using SQL queries against Microsoft SQL Server databases.

- Ensure adequate automation coverage for new features, enhancements, and regression testing.

- Conduct peer reviews of automation scripts to ensure code quality, maintainability,



and coding standards.

- Perform defect investigation and root cause analysis in collaboration with development teams.

- Continuously improve automation frameworks, test scripts, and testing processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.

- Work closely with DevOps teams to support continuous integration and continuous testing initiatives.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices across the team.

Key Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 4–5 years of experience in software testing with strong expertise in test automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.

- Good understanding of automation framework design and development.

- Experience with REST API testing, Postman, and Swagger/OpenAPI.

- Experience with Git and version control practices.

- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent CI/CD tools.

- Knowledge of XUnit or equivalent testing frameworks.

- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and backend database validation is preferred.

- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript is preferred.

- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Experience with functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

- Strong attention to detail, ownership, accountability, and commitment to software quality.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced workplace.

- Proactive approach with a continuous learning mindset and ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and testing methodologies.
