Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure a cost-effective and reliable supply chain for raw materials required in the manufacturing process.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships with key vendors.
- Vendor Management:
Oversee the performance of existing suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality standards,
delivery schedules, and contractual obligations.
Conduct regular vendor assessments and implement improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance.
- Cost Management:
Implement cost-effective measures to optimize procurement processes and reduce overall purchasing costs without compromising on quality.
Analyze market trends, monitor commodity prices, and proactively identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Contract Negotiation:
Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions,
including pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Ensure that all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Inventory Control:
Work closely with the inventory management team to maintain optimal inventory levels, preventing stockouts and excess inventory.
Implement efficient inventory control mechanisms to minimize carrying costs.
- Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and finance, to align procurement activities with overall business goals.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in BE / B tech – Mechanical / Electronics / Electrical
Proven experience in a senior procurement role.
Solid negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and cost management strategies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with relevant SAP software and technology for procurement management.
Experience 16 to 20 years.
