Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day purchase activities for the construction project.
- Source and procure civil, construction, electrical, plumbing, hardware and general project materials.
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
- Negotiate rates, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial terms with vendors.
- Coordinate with the Project, Stores, Engineering, Accounts and Site teams to understand material requirements.
- Prepare Purchase Orders and ensure proper documentation.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials to the project site.
- Monitor pending purchase orders and ensure there are no delays affecting project activities.
- Verify material specifications, quantity and quality requirements before finalizing purchases.
- Maintain vendor records, quotation comparisons, purchase orders and procurement reports.
- Support cost control and identify opportunities for procurement savings.




- Handle vendor issues, delivery delays and material discrepancies effectively.
- Ensure procurement activities are carried out as per company procedures and project requirements.

Candidate Profile
- Any Graduate / Diploma in Civil, Construction, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant purchase/procurement experience, preferably in Civil & Construction Projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and local vendor markets.
- Experience in handling procurement for large-scale projects will be an advantage.
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong follow-up skills with attention to cost, quality and delivery timelines.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.
- Candidates currently working in construction/project procurement are preferred.
- Willingness to relocate and work in Mathur, Trichy is mandatory.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
